Q. How long is the rental period?

A. If you are collecting in store for a weekend event your collection day will be Friday after 2pm and return on the following Monday before 2pm. If your event is on a weekday your outfit will be available from 2pm the day before your event and you can return the outfit the day after the event by 2pm.

 If you would like your outfit delivered we can deliver on the Thursday and collect on the following Monday.  For weekday events we will deliver the day before your event and collect the day after your event.

Q. How does the delivery and pick up of the outfit work?

A. All we need from you is the delivery and pick up address, this can be your house, work, hotel etc.  We shall deliver your outfit the day before your event date, when your finished with the outfit we pick them back up.  It really could not be easier.

Q. What measurements do I need for my outfit?

A. We need your height, chest size, shoe size, waist size and your neck size if you would like a shirt.  If you would like some help with this please call us on 01382 459 389 (Dundee) or 0141 3366 514 (Glasgow), its that simple.

Q. When should I book my kilt from my event?

A. Booking early is a great idea. Moreover the earlier you can book the larger selection of tartans you shall have. We have a last minute service, and have a great selection and volume of stock, so if you have a special or late requirement then get in touch.

Q. What is the quality of the outfits offered?

A. Here at A1 Kilt Hire we never cut corners. Our kilts are 8 yard heavy weight 100% wool and are made in Scotland by the very best kilt maker. Our high quality jackets are also hand made in scotland. We have the leather brogues and real fur sporrans.
